Join our dynamic logistics team as a Material Handler in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We are seeking motivated individuals to manage the flow of materials within our bustling distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and staging materials for production or shipment. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will be key to maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing warehouse layout. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement of goods.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing inventory.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
- Follow all instructions for Lifting requirements and material movement.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently. Must be reliable and punctual. A commitment to Safety is paramount.
