Become a vital part of our Tampa, Florida fulfillment center as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team and contribute to the efficient processing of customer orders. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets and then carefully packing them for shipment. This requires a good understanding of our inventory system and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You'll be on your feet for most of your shift, navigating the warehouse and handling products of various sizes and weights, which will involve regular lifting. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, so adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order details.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring proper materials are used.
- Label packages correctly for transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment as trained.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to a supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to following safety regulations and using PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
