About
We are seeking a robust and agile Material Handler to join our logistics team in Denver, Colorado. This position is central to the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving the movement and organization of materials throughout the facility. You will operate various equipment, load and unload trucks, and ensure that inventory is stored correctly and accessible. A strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork is essential. You will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods, from receiving to dispatch, contributing directly to our logistics success. The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses good organizational skills, and is dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Moving materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or shipping/receiving docks.
- Stacking and organizing materials in designated locations.
- Performing regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhering to all company safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participating in team meetings to discuss operational objectives and safety improvements.
- Supporting other warehouse functions as needed, which may include significant manual lifting.
