Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. This role is critical to our operational efficiency, involving a range of tasks to ensure the smooth flow of goods within our facility. As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping activities. Your duties will encompass managing inventory, operating equipment safely, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires physical stamina for lifting and movement, a strong attention to detail, and a dedication to upholding all safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with a proactive approach and the ability to adapt to various warehouse demands. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory and shipments.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (if certified), pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment, free from hazards.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock management.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
  • Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds and other physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
