We are seeking a versatile and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. This role is critical to our operational efficiency, involving a range of tasks to ensure the smooth flow of goods within our facility. As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping activities. Your duties will encompass managing inventory, operating equipment safely, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires physical stamina for lifting and movement, a strong attention to detail, and a dedication to upholding all safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with a proactive approach and the ability to adapt to various warehouse demands. Your contribution is vital to our logistics success and overall operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory and shipments.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (if certified), pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds and other physically demanding tasks.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
