Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Material Handler to join our thriving logistics center in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods from receiving to dispatch. You will be responsible for managing inventory, moving materials using various equipment, and maintaining an organized and safe working environment. Your role contributes significantly to the efficiency of our supply chain and the satisfaction of our customers. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We are looking for individuals who are reliable, proactive, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team. Your efforts are crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our logistics processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality.
  • Sort, identify, and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations using RF scanners or other tracking methods.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy and care.
  • Operate manual and powered material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in stock reconciliation efforts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, free from hazards.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Load finished goods onto trucks and ensure proper securing of the load.
  • Identify and report any damage, defects, or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
  • Support overall warehouse logistics, including assisting other departments as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or material handling role is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 75 pounds.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
  • Experience with basic material handling equipment is required; forklift experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Good physical condition with the stamina to perform demanding tasks throughout the shift.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to job responsibilities.
