In this role, you'll be involved in all aspects of order fulfillment, from receiving goods to picking, packing, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and put away incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick orders using RF scanners or pick sheets with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Pack orders securely and safely, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for various carriers, including documentation and labeling.
- Conduct quality checks on products and orders before dispatch.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely (if certified).
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including wearing required PPE.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Understanding of logistics workflows and supply chain operations.
- Knowledge and adherence to safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
Physical Demands:
This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and reaching. The role requires standing and walking for the duration of the shift. Employees must follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and wearing required PPE, to ensure a safe and productive work environment within our logistics hub.
