Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using a pick list or scanner.
- Inspect picked items for damages and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Pack items securely into appropriate boxes or containers for shipment.
- Label packages with correct shipping information and apply necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Understand and follow all company policies and procedures related to warehousing and logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of logistics operations is beneficial.
Physical Demands:
This position requires frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and reaching. The ability to stand for an entire shift is necessary. Team members must adhere to all safety guidelines to prevent injuries, including proper lifting techniques. We are committed to ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
