About
We are hiring a Material Handler for our busy facility in San Jose, California. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as operating various types of equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and has experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Your role is crucial for ensuring that materials are available where and when needed, supporting overall production and Logistics efficiency. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Load and unload materials from trucks.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and location management.
- Ensure all materials are handled according to company procedures and Safety standards.
- Use required PPE at all times while performing duties.
- Perform tasks that involve regular Lifting , pushing, and pulling of materials.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
