Become a vital part of our logistics network as a Material Handler in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to manage the movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless flow of goods, from receiving to dispatch. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, stock inventory, and maintain the orderliness of our storage areas. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all employees are expected to adhere strictly to Safety regulations and utilize the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The successful candidate will be physically fit, possess excellent attention to detail, and be a team player. Significant Lifting is a regular part of this role. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring efficient space utilization.
- Transport materials to and from various departments within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role.
- Certification or ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices and logistics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
