Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move, stack, and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support shipping and receiving functions as directed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Experience operating various types of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to following all PPE guidelines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
