About
We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical to our **Logistics** operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will utilize scanning equipment to track inventory and ensure accuracy. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential, and adherence to all **Safety** protocols and the use of **PPE** is mandatory. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. This role involves significant **Lifting** and movement throughout the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Use scanning devices to track inventory and order fulfillment.
- Ensure picked items are correct and in good condition.
- Pack items carefully for transport to the shipping department.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere strictly to all **Safety** procedures and guidelines.
- Wear and maintain all required **PPE**.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets for order picking.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order processing.
Qualifications:
Ability to **Lifting** up to 40 pounds. Previous experience in order picking or warehouse environments is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **Safety** focused. Must wear **PPE**. Understanding of **Logistics** is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
