Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that inventory is managed accurately and orders are processed promptly. Your responsibilities will include receiving, unpacking, stocking, and fulfilling customer orders. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols, and utilizing warehouse equipment effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to teamwork. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse setting, a strong understanding of inventory management principles, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Unpack, sort, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to order specifications.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage.
  • Assist with shipping preparations, including labeling and staging orders.

Qualifications:
Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and **lifting** up to 50 pounds. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment, which may involve varying temperatures. Commitment to **Safety** and proper use of **PPE** is mandatory. Experience in **Logistics** operations is preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
