We are looking for a diligent Picker/Packer to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This role is fundamental to our e-commerce fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are picked accurately and packed securely for shipment. You will be responsible for navigating our warehouse efficiently to locate specified items, carefully preparing them for transit, and verifying order details. Success in this position requires a sharp eye for detail, a commitment to speed and accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As part of our logistics team, you will contribute directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment. We emphasize a strong safety culture, and all team members are required to utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses and work boots. This role involves considerable physical activity, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. Teamwork and communication are essential as you collaborate with colleagues to meet daily operational demands. Your role is crucial in getting products to our customers quickly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packaging.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product protection during transit.
- Assemble product boxes and package items securely.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to track orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing targets.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status or any issues encountered.
