Our San Antonio, Texas facility is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to oversee and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This vital role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring that our stock levels are precise and our inventory system is up-to-date. Responsibilities include conducting cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, performing regular audits, and implementing process improvements to enhance accuracy. You will collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of all inventory items. A thorough understanding of inventory management principles and best practices is essential. This position requires a strong commitment to Safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all warehouse safety protocols. The role involves regular use of scanning equipment and potentially some lifting of items up to 30 pounds. Proficiency in inventory management software and analytical skills are key.
