We have an immediate need for dedicated Picker/Packers at our Chicago, Illinois location. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a vital role in our e-commerce fulfillment process, ensuring accurate order selection and preparation for shipment. This position is key to our logistics network, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from assigned warehouse locations using order lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock management activities.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our warehouse logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous but not essential.
- Must be able to perform consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high levels of accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
