Join our fast-paced distribution center in Miami, Florida as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to join our logistics team. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This involves using an order picking system, carefully selecting products, and ensuring they are correctly packaged to prevent damage during transit. You'll be an essential part of our fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. We prioritize a safe working environment, so adherence to all safety guidelines and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected. This position involves significant standing, walking, and some moderate Lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Teamwork and a positive attitude are key to success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Verify picked items against order details to minimize errors.
- Operate order picking equipment as needed.
- Label and stage orders for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Participate in team activities and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to a supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity for moderate Lifting and performing physical tasks.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and use PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
