*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented early career Civil Structural Engineer 1 to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing structural projects that ensure safety, durability, and compliance with industry standards. *Responsibilities*
* Develop detailed structural designs using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software tools to produce accurate drawings and models.
* Perform *structural analysis utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software *and Mathcad to evaluate load capacities, system behavior, and safety margins.
* Coordinate project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of design milestones while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Prepare technical reports, construction documents, and project specifications with clarity and precision for client review and regulatory approval.
* Collaborate with civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, system designers, and project managers to integrate structural solutions within broader project scopes.
* Conduct site visits during construction phases to oversee implementation, resolve on-site issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
* Utilize Bluebeam for efficient markup review and document management throughout the project lifecycle.
* Engage in project management activities such as resource allocation, progress tracking, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.
* Apply geotechnical engineering principles and GIS data analysis for foundation design and site assessments.
* Support system design efforts by integrating civil engineering concepts with structural requirements for complex infrastructure projects.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in structural engineering within civil or infrastructure projects; familiarity with construction processes is essential.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and CAD drafting tools is required; experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable.
* *Strong background in finite element analysis (FEA), Mathcad modeling, and technical writing for clear documentation of complex concepts.*
* Demonstrated ability in project scheduling and project management methodologies to deliver projects on time and within scope.
* Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, GIS applications, and system design integration enhances project effectiveness.
* Experience working with construction teams during onsite execution ensures practical application of designs.
* Familiarity with civil engineering standards, building codes, safety regulations, and environmental considerations is necessary for compliance assurance. Pay: $82,959.81 - $99,908.59 per year
