Cleanline Plumbing, Heating, and Electrical is committed to providing high-quality electrical services and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced *Red Seal Journeyman Electrician* to join our team.
*\*\*\*Position available to start immediately\*\*\**
*\*\*\*Must own personal tools required for typical installations\*\*\**
*\*\*\*Typical hours of operation, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm\*\*\**
*\*\*\*NOTE. On call shifts/emergency work required as necessary\*\*\**
*Position Overview:*
As a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician at Cleanline, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about their craft and eager to contribute to a growing, dynamic team.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
* Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
* Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely and effective manner.
* Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople on job sites.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices and other junior staff.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
* Follow safety procedures and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
*Qualifications:*
* Valid Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification.
* Minimum of (5) years of experience as a journeyman electrician.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work in a variety of environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
* Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience with PLCs, automation systems, or specialized electrical systems is an asset.
* First aid and safety certifications.
* Experience in supervising apprentices or junior electricians.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $43.74 per hour
