About
*Babine Truck & Equipment* in Prince Rupert, BC is hiring a *Commercial Transport Technician/Mechanic* to help keep the region’s trucks rolling. You'll work with the latest in heavy-duty truck technology, including Mack and Volvo trucks, all makes, and a range of powertrains—diesel, hydrogen, and electric.
*Relocation assistance is available.*
What You’ll Do
* Perform comprehensive heavy truck and trailer repairs
* Conduct BC CVIP truck and trailer inspections
* Diagnose and troubleshoot using advanced guided diagnostic software
* Ensure a clean, organized, and safety-first work environment
* Repair and maintain all make of heavy trucks and trailers including, diesel, hydrogen, and electric trucks
* Maintain and manage your own set of professional tools
What You Bring
* *Red Seal Journeyman (Commercial Transport)* preferred – _but we’re open to apprentices with the right attitude!_
* Also open to automotive mechanics as well
* BC CVIP certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Solid experience in heavy truck and trailer repair
* High school diploma or equivalent
* A detail-oriented mindset and a strong work ethic
* A positive attitude and a team player mentality

Pay: $40.00-$63.00 per hour
