This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for retrieving items from inventory using pick lists or scanning devices, verifying order accuracy, and then carefully packaging products to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order sheets or RF scanner data.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities against customer orders.
- Carefully package products using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Ensure all packages are correctly labeled and staged for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding work area.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Utilize required PPE, such as safety glasses, gloves, and protective footwear.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Report any discrepancies or issues promptly to a supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven ability to pick and pack orders accurately.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a consistent work record.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Effective communication skills.
