We are looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our thriving warehouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for a range of tasks from receiving goods to picking, packing, and preparing them for dispatch. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to tasks, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and **Safety**. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to excellence in **Logistics**. This role offers the chance to grow within a leading company in the fulfillment sector.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using scanners and pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Process incoming shipments, verify contents, and stock inventory appropriately.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company **Safety** policies and procedures, including the correct use of **PPE**.
- Assist with other warehouse operational duties as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues and sharing best practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order fulfillment or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform frequent bending, squatting, and reaching.
- Must be capable of **Lifting** up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with **Logistics** and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of and commitment to **PPE** usage and overall workplace **Safety**.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
