Our team is built on a foundation of quality workmanship, reliability, and teamwork. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Construction HVAC Estimator to join our team.
*Position Overview:*
The HVAC Estimator is responsible for estimating, planning, and managing mechanical construction projects from start to finish. This role involves working closely with general contractors, vendors, and customers to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality mechanical solutions.
*Responsibilities:*
* Prepare detailed estimates for commercial and industrial mechanical projects, including HVAC, Refrigeration, Sheet Metal, Controls, and Hydronics.
* Review drawings, plans, and specifications to perform accurate take-offs and cost analyses.
* Determine appropriate equipment, ductwork, and piping sizes.
* Collaborate with general contractors and clients to develop project scopes and pricing.
* Manage all project phases including:
* Submittal preparation and coordination
* Jobsite and coordination meetings
* Facility walkthroughs and client assessments
* Purchase order management and material tracking
* Job scheduling and manpower coordination
* Change order and bulletin estimating/tracking
* Permit acquisition and compliance
* Subcontractor coordination (cranes, rigging, etc.)
* Project closeout documentation
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet company quality standards.
*Qualifications:*
* 10+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC estimating and/or project management.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and construction processes.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
