What You'll Be Contributing:

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

  • Develop and implement commodity strategies for electrical components (e.g., MV & LV cables, Transformers, switchgear);
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier consolidation, alternative sourcing, and value engineering.

Supplier Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance, quality, and delivery;
  • Monitor supplier capacity, lead times, & risk factors; implement mitigation plans as needed;
  • Drive continuous improvements (quality, cost, & lead-time).

Contract Negotiation

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve optimal cost and risk balance;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Market Analysis & Risk Management

  • Track market trends, raw material pricing, and technology developments impacting electrical components;
  • Develop risk management strategies for supply disruptions and cost volatility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with proposal, engineering, and project management teams to align sourcing strategies with technical requirements;
  • Coordinate with logistics and site management to optimize inbound material flow and minimize supply chain disruptions;
  • Engage with sustainability teams to incorporate environmentally responsible sourcing practices into commodity strategies.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Strong technical background (bachelor's in electrical engineering is preferred);
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commodity management or strategic sourcing, in electrical components;
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills;
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving;
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite;
