As a key member of the pharmacy staff, you will play a crucial role in consulting and advising customers on their medications, encompassing both prescription and non-prescription items, with a focus on promoting their overall well-being. This role entails ensuring strict compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations relevant to the department.
*Essential Job Functions*
· Dispense prescription medication to patients
· Provide information about medications and help patients understand the instructions their doctors provide
· Provide information and make recommendations about over-the-counter medications
· Monitor the health and progress of patients in response to drug therapy
· Works well in a team environment
· Portrays the company in a positive image
· Required to abide by all rules, regulations and policies of the employer
*Required licenses or certifications*
· Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college
