About
We are seeking motivated and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to our efficient operations and requires attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the smooth flow of goods through our supply chain. Your primary duties will involve using order sheets or scanners to locate and pick products, carefully inspecting items for damage, and then packaging them securely for transit. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics industry and develop valuable skills. We are committed to a safe working environment and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specific instructions.
- Scan items using a handheld scanner to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Inspect products for defects or damage before packaging.
- Package items securely and safely for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding role.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of basic PPE usage.
