Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in Fort Worth, Texas! We are looking for dedicated individuals to support our fast-paced logistics operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, inspected, and securely packaged for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail directly contribute to our customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of our warehouse. You will work closely with other team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets in a well-organized environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to work diligently in a warehouse setting, and a commitment to safety. Prior experience in picking and packing is a plus, but we are eager to train motivated individuals who are ready to learn and contribute.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Inspect all items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and securely pack items for transit.
- Apply correct shipping labels to packages.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work station and surrounding areas.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as required.
Requirements:
- Ability to remain on your feet for the entire shift and perform repetitive movements.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Good reading comprehension skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Commitment to adhering to safety standards and wearing all required PPE.
