Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing regular cycle counts, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a well-organized stockroom. You will work closely with warehouse supervisors and other team members to achieve departmental goals. Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount in this position. We emphasize a safe working environment and expect all employees to adhere to strict safety protocols. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times. You will be expected to handle lifting of various items throughout the day, so a good level of physical fitness is beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inventory counts (cycle counts and full physical inventories).
  • Record inventory adjustments and discrepancies in the inventory management system.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Organize and maintain stockroom cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving functions as needed.
  • Ensure all items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low stock items.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Use appropriate PPE for all tasks.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and inventory software.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
