Are you a skilled and passionate veterinary surgeon looking for an exciting opportunity to help build and shape the future of a multidisciplinary specialty veterinary hospital? Our privately owned, non-corporate practice in the beautiful Vancouver area is set to open in the fall of 2025, and we are seeking a motivated surgeon to join our team and establish the foundation of our surgery service.

*The Opportunity:*
We are looking for a veterinary surgeon with several years of experience who is ready to take on a leadership role in developing a surgery department. This position is ideal for someone with vision, initiative, and a strong desire to shape a service that reflects their expertise and dedication to excellence.

*What We’re Looking For:*
* DVM Board-certified or board-eligible veterinary surgeon (DACVS/ECVS or equivalent).
* Several years of experience in surgical practice, with a strong foundation in both soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.
* Leadership qualities and a desire to take initiative in building and developing a surgery service.
* Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and fostering collaboration with other specialties.
* Interest in contributing to a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented hospital culture.
*Compensation: C$275,000–C$300,000 Base Salary + production. This position also offers the opportunity for future ‘buy in’. *
