About
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to support our extensive logistics operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including order fulfillment, inventory control, and general upkeep of the facility. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receipt to shipment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, motivated, and possess a strong commitment to Safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Comprehensive training will be provided, but prior experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial. This position offers a great opportunity to develop skills within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Receive and stock incoming inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles and work areas.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety procedures and policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Identify and report any potential Safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as required.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
