Become a key player in our logistics operations as a Warehouse Associate in Richmond, Virginia! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support our warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping. Your role is vital to maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our inventory management. We are deeply committed to a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This position involves physical activity, such as regular Lifting, and requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
Prior warehouse or general labor experience is preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks. Commitment to safety and understanding of proper PPE usage. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
