Are you a detail-oriented professional looking for a rewarding opportunity? Join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as an Inventory Control Specialist! This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which directly impacts our logistics and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for tracking, auditing, and managing stock levels to ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status to management.
  • Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE in inventory-related tasks.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Support logistics operations by providing accurate inventory data.
  • May involve occasional lifting and moving of inventory items.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a logistics environment.
  • Experience with manual lifting up to 30 lbs is occasionally required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree is a plus.
