In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This position is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their products on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using an order sheet or scanner.
- Package items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment safely.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Follow all company guidelines regarding safety and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and efficient logistics.
- Willingness to assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include some lifting.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for order fulfillment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs) occasionally.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
