We are seeking energetic and dedicated Picker/Packers to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This role is fundamental to our e-commerce operations, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. As a Picker/Packer, your primary responsibilities will include locating specific items within the warehouse, carefully picking them from inventory, and then preparing them for shipment by packing them securely. You'll be an essential part of our Logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction through your diligence and speed. We emphasize a culture of safety and provide all necessary training and equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE ), to ensure a secure working environment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and the physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including regular Lifting of items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Pack items safely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing and preparing packages for shipment.
- Maintain productivity standards and meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse technology as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with order picking and packing is advantageous.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Comfortable wearing required PPE , including safety shoes and gloves.
- Understanding of basic inventory control principles.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Commitment to a safe and productive Logistics operation.
