We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our distribution center. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of materials. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols are essential. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, picking and staging orders, and ensuring that all equipment is maintained in good working order. Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
- Load and unload trailers.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Adhere to all Safety and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
