About
We are seeking dedicated and efficient Picker/Packers to join our dynamic team in New York City. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your responsibilities will include locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, meticulously inspecting them for quality, and carefully packaging them for shipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail to minimize errors and maximize customer satisfaction. You will be working within a fast-paced logistics environment, adhering to all company policies and safety protocols. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for growth within our company. We emphasize a safe working environment, and all team members are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Verify item accuracy and quantities against order slips.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packaging.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
- Contribute to overall team goals and efficiency in the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and the use of PPE.
