We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our logistics team in Provo, Utah. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our distribution center. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing materials, as well as operating various material handling equipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Retrieve and deliver materials to designated areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Understand and implement logistics best practices.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Tasks may require considerable lifting and physical dexterity.
- Ensure proper handling and secure movement of materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics principles.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to wear mandatory PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
