About
We are looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This critical role ensures that all incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and processed into our inventory system. You will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, verifying contents against purchase orders and documenting any discrepancies. A meticulous approach to your work is essential for maintaining inventory integrity and supporting our overall Logistics operations. We are committed to ensuring a safe working environment for all our employees, which includes the mandatory provision and use of PPE . This position involves standing for extended periods, walking, and occasional Lifting of packages up to 40 pounds. Strict adherence to all Safety guidelines is required.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and product codes against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any issues or discrepancies immediately.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
