Join our fast-paced distribution center in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals to ensure the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, requiring you to accurately pick products from our inventory and prepare them for shipment. You will be responsible for reading order tickets, locating items, packing them securely, and ensuring they are ready for dispatch. The ideal candidate is capable of working efficiently in a dynamic environment, meeting production targets, and maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Meet daily productivity and quality goals.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Support overall logistics functions and team efforts.
- Previous experience in a Picker/Packer or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse systems is a plus.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of required PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
