We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable individual to contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of our facility. This role encompasses a variety of essential warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. A strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment is crucial. You will be actively involved in moving inventory and preparing orders for our valued customers. The job requires physical stamina, including frequent standing, walking, and the ability to perform regular Lifting of items. We ensure that all necessary PPE is provided for your protection. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities and condition.
- Store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders or pick tickets.
- Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Wear and use all required PPE correctly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives and maintain workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
