Do you want to work a flex schedule, utilize and grow your technical skills and work alongside seasoned veterinarians and RVTs? Then, Marina Animal Clinic is the place for you. We are a well-established small animal practice in the heart of Tulsa, OK. We are currently looking for a registered veterinary tech to join our multi-doctor practice who can provide general nursing care, administration of medication and use of in house lab and radiography.

This Position:
As a Registered Veterinary Tech, you will be able to care for animals in a clinical setting that offers a wide array of tools to provide the best care possible. In this busy, 7 day a week clinic, you will see something new every day and work with experienced Veterinarians and experienced staff on each shift.
Your day-to-day as a Registered Veterinary Tech includes:
· IV and urinary catheter placement
· Digital radiographs (including dental)
· Anesthesia administration
· Medication administration
· Surgical prep (including intubation)
· Post-surgical care
· Collect blood urine and perform laboratory procedures
· Micro-chipping
· Vaccinations and injections
· Splint placement
· Assist veterinarians with procedures and exams
· Insures the safety and sanitation of the environment
· Working well with other staff and vets
· Bi-lingual in Spanish is considered a plus
· Fostering relationships with new clients
Requirements:
· Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology
· License for the state of Oklahoma
· Ability to work under highly emotional and stressful situations
· Desire to continuously develop as a professional
· Dependable and punctual
· Ability to work a shift-schedule 7 days a week (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off)
· Experience with AVImark veterinarian practice management software considered a plus
