Led by experienced professionals, the center offers state-of-the-art procedures aimed at improving both the health and aesthetic appearance of the vascular system. With a focus on minimally invasive treatments, such as sclerotherapy, endovenous laser therapy, and vein stripping, the center provides personalized care to help patients achieve optimal results.
*Job Description Summary*
The Cath Lab Tech supports cardiothoracic and endovascular procedures by providing high-quality imaging, preparing and operating specialized equipment, and assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases. This role ensures safe, efficient workflow within the cath lab and contributes to exceptional patient care through technical expertise and strong teamwork.
*Essential Functions*
· Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiothoracic and endovascular procedures
· Prepare patients, procedure rooms, and specialized equipment for cath lab operations
· Operate and troubleshoot imaging systems and monitoring equipment
· Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
· Maintain accurate procedural documentation and support workflow efficiency
· Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory guidelines
· Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care before, during, and after procedures
· Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal office policies
*Requirements*
· Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related program
· ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent certificate
· Current BLS/ACLS certification
· Strong understanding of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and cardiovascular anatomy
· Proficiency in operating imaging, fluoroscopy, and monitoring equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach
