About

Menifee Meadows is currently seeking an *MDS COORDINATOR* to oversee the RAI process and completion of the process for residents in accordance with all laws, regulations, and Company standards.
*SKILLS and ABILITIES*
* *Experience: Minimum of 2 years of MDS experience*
*CERTIFICATES and LICENSES*
* *RN degree *from accredited college and in good standing with current licensure board.
* RAC-CT preferred but not required
* Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

We are a long-term care skilled nursing facility operating 24/7. Our facility is committed to providing the highest quality of care and services assuring human dignity and quality of life for our residents, their families, and our employees.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*
* Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing functions in the long-term care facility.
* Must be able to assist in the care needs of the residents as needed.
* Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise professional and non-professional personnel.
* Must have the ability to implement the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Nursing department.
* Must be able to keep current on best practice and current standards in the related clinical field.
* Must be able to investigate and direct resident inquiries or complaints to appropriate medical staff members.
* Must be able to coordinate communication between residents, family members, medical staff, administrative staff, or regulatory agencies.
* Must understand and follow company policies.
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
* Must be able to understand the financial concepts and implications of RAI process, including RUGs and case mix components.
* Must be able to interview residents or their representatives to identify problems relating to care.
* Must be able to explain policies, procedures, or services to residents using methods in which the resident or representative understands the content.
