About
We are looking for enthusiastic Pickers/Packers to join our warehouse team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is fundamental to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists and then carefully packing them for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quick, and possesses the physical stamina for tasks involving frequent movement and Lifting. A strong commitment to Safety and accuracy is paramount in this position, which is a key part of our daily logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment, ensuring all information is correct.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and protocols.
- Properly use required PPE, such as gloves and safety glasses.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick lists accurately.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and work at a steady pace.
- Ability to handle frequent Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics operations.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety regulations.
