We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in San Francisco, California. This critical role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of productivity and safety. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, coordinate workflows, and implement best practices in logistics and inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff.
- Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits.
- Implement and enforce all safety procedures, including the use of PPE and safe handling of materials.
- Manage the receiving and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance and metrics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics.
- Proficiency in inventory management and control.
- Experience with Lifting and moving heavy objects is required for team members under your supervision.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and accident prevention.
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
