Seeking a diligent Picker/Packer to join our busy fulfillment center in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and meticulously preparing them for shipment. This is a critical position within our logistics chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and in excellent condition. You will work with a variety of products, utilizing scanning technology to track items and manage inventory. The ideal candidate is highly organized, efficient, and possesses a strong commitment to quality and safety. You'll be an integral part of a team dedicated to smooth and rapid order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from various warehouse locations.
- Inspect items for damage or discrepancies.
- Package items securely for transit, selecting appropriate materials.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
- Adhere to all company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall logistics operations.
- Must have the ability to perform lifting of packages up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand product information and order details.
- Familiarity with scanning devices and warehouse technology.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- A commitment to workplace safety.
