About
Our Houston, Texas facility is looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of inventory management, including cycle counting, variance investigation, and reconciliation. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring the integrity of our stock. Key responsibilities include conducting regular physical counts, analyzing inventory data, and reporting findings to management. You will also collaborate with warehouse operations teams to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of inventory management principles within a logistics setting. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, is paramount. Adherence to all company safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This role may involve some Lifting of inventory items, and candidates should be prepared for such physical demands. Contribute to the seamless operation of our supply chain.
