In this role, you will be involved in a range of critical tasks, including receiving shipments, organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing goods for dispatch. Success in this position depends on your ability to work diligently, maintain accuracy, and prioritize safety. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our supply chain functions effectively. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe workplace, so understanding and following all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This role offers a stable schedule and a competitive hourly rate. Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and stock incoming warehouse inventory.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipping.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety rules and the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including consistent Lifting.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Dependable and punctual.
