About
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our logistics team in Denver, Colorado. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, picking, and preparing goods for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail are key to ensuring smooth warehouse operations and maintaining high safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and shipments.
- Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Prepare materials and products for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
