Job Summary:
Join our St. Louis, Missouri team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate! In this vital role, you will be the gatekeeper of our incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all logistics operations. You'll be responsible for managing the flow of products into and out of our distribution center, maintaining meticulous records, and ensuring that shipments are processed correctly and on time. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document any discrepancies.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
  • Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent data entry and system updates.
  • Organize and maintain the receiving and shipping areas to ensure efficient workflow and safety.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of required PPE.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Physical capability to handle frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing/walking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
  • Must be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
