Become an integral part of our state-of-the-art distribution center in Los Angeles, California, as a Distribution Center Associate. This versatile role supports various warehouse operations, from receiving and put-away to order fulfillment and shipping. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks designed to ensure the efficient flow of goods through our facility. This includes operating material handling equipment, managing inventory, performing quality control checks, and assisting in maintaining a safe and organized work environment. A strong understanding of logistics principles and a commitment to operational excellence are highly valued. You will be expected to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately put away products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate various material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counting processes.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Perform tasks that involve regular lifting of items up to 55 pounds.
- Assist with shipping and loading activities as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is a significant plus.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adherence to safety standards and proper use of PPE.
